“Vertex Vase,” (2023)

Made of two separate, interlocking parts, this vase is designed to replicate the tension of uncertainty. Sexual, romantic, awkward, interpersonal; the two pieces are at odds, constantly battling the eternal strain of gravity, and yet this very strain is what keeps them upright. You can almost feel the piece breathing, pulsing, groaning under the weight of what can never and what must always.
